‘Working on a monumental building that must remain operational is of course quite a challenge. I’ve been working on the project for a few years now, and I’ve never had a dull moment. In the beginning, sketch the first broad outlines and now work out the smallest details. To find out what influence those first choices now have, frequent consultation with the clients. In the meantime, dive into the archives to find out what exactly is behind that finish. As a commuter myself, I come there every day, and soon I will be able to see the changes that we now outline take place. I feel we are making a building that is already very good, even better.
